Get ready for Instagram feeds filled with sprinkles because The Museum of Ice Cream is coming to Mia

Instagram sensation — and Beyonce approved — Museum of Ice Cream is bringing its frozen goodness to South Florida starting December 13.

Taking up shop at 3400 Collins Avenue, the four-story building designed by OMA in the Faena District will be dedicated to all things ice cream. Featuring, amongst other things, pools filled with sprinkles, giant ice cream statues, interactive ice cream art exhibits and plenty of sugary tastings throughout the space. As Eater SF describes it, “As a museum, it’s less of a history lesson and more an interactive installation.”

This marks the fourth location for the museum, which originally debuted in New York last summer and expanded to Los Angeles and San Francisco this year and has already welcomed more than half a million visitors from around the world. According to a press release, the design of each location is reflective of the city it’s in and is meant to engage all “five senses through physical, digital and experiential dialogues.”
